Skiing and snowboarding are such expensive sports. Apart from the cost of getting to the mountain and the lift ticket, there’s all that gear! You can spend a fortune on boots, bindings, and boards. Since I’m still learning how to snowboard, I refuse to spend a lot on new equipment. I found my boots at a used sporting goods store (Play It Again Sports is amazing) and luckily inherited a board from my husband. For the rest of it, you DO NOT need every product that Burton makes. You don’t even need a much of a coat – a fleece and a windbreaker will do you fine. The Bumsaver, however, is crucial.
