Especially if you’re in tight quarters, or on a budget, mixing custom drinks for everyone you’re entertaining (or for yourself while you wrap) can get exhausting, messy, and expensive. Serving one “specialty” cocktail is always a good way to avoid the headache (and price-tag) of an “open bar” at your place. Today’s cocktail recipe is a good bet, as it’s “fancy” enough to superficially impress, yet delicious enough to actually impress. I have modified the original recipe to include less lime juice, but feel free to add more if your taste-buds prefer.

The (slightly modified) Pear Tree Martini

4 cups St-Germain
4 cups pear vodka
1 cup lime juice
Several dashes angostura bitters

Pour all ingredients into a large pitcher and keep in your fridge through the holidays. Serve in a martini glass or on the rocks and garnish with a slice of pear if you’re feeling creative. Perfect with appetizers or as dessert.

Cheers!
