You ever think, “Man, if I could just invent something that people actually want, all my problems would go away and I could laugh and laugh at the old days when I didn’t have a boat and five houses and a staff masseuse and a constant selection of meat and cheese and God, I used to live like a ferel animal!?”  Yea, me niether.  ’Cause dreams don’t come true, kids!  Penny pinching 4-eva!

Except that they do…for jerks with ambition and ideas.

Enter, Shoelery. The brainchild of the budding New York lady-led company, BluffNY.  Shoelery is, wait for it, jewelry…for your shoes!  Could also maybe be Shoolery.  Like foolery.  ’Cause you’ll be fooling everyone with these versatile, funky, edgy, sexy shoe accessories meant to vamp up your existing pumps, sandals, boots, or flats.  Girls will be all, “She must have like, a hundred pairs of shoes!  Fucking Bitch.”  And you’ll be all, “Don’t be so jealous, you whore!”  And I’ll be all, “Ladies, calm down, it’s Shoelery…”, and then I’ll delve into the details while you all sit around me on the couch like in that NuvaRing commercial.

For reals though, Shoelery is pretty clever.  Interchangeable straps, chains, buckles, bows, feathers, and fringe that can totally transform your look.  I’ve never worn them, so if you were looking for a proper review, yeah sorry.  I’m just voicing my opinge.  Not sure they’re exactly my steez since all I seem to wear are sweatpants and moccasins these days, but I would totally consider throwing the Alice over boots or the Stud over a plain high heel to funk things up fo’ sho if I was cooler and more prone to “going out” and “having fun” and “not living like a 60 year old.”

Price ranges from $58-$110, which at first made me all whoa!  But then I justified it ’cause you could wear it over many a shoe and it might be really handy in your closet if it proves to be your thing.

Do me a favor and go have fun in these things, girls.  I’ll be here eating a sleeve of oreos and watching Apocalypto.
