Stiruppz are my favorite fashion invention of recent times. Basically, they turn any pair of pants into stirrup pants, eliminating the annoying, ugly, and embarrassing knee-bunching that is an unfortunate side-effect typical to wearing boots over your jeans. And at $25 a pair, they’re a must-have addition to any fall/winter wardrobe (or a great stocking-stuffer).
This is how they work:
- Jeans and boots are a fabulous combination, but knee-bunching can quickly ruin your look.
- To use the Stiruppz, first cuff your jeans (two small rolls or one big cuff will probably do the trick).
- Clip one end of the Stiruppz to one side of your cuffed jeans.
- Clip the other end to the other side and *poof* your jeans are stirruped and boot-ready.
- Nice, smooth jeans that won’t bunch at the knees (even through a day of standing, sitting, walking, etc.). Hot.
You’re welcome.

Not sure why it’s taken so long, but there are a few products now for keeping jeans neatly tucked in boots. My favorite is JeanGrabbers (www.jeangrabbers.com.) Very reasonably priced ($9.95, no sales tax, cheap shipping!) especially given how super cute they are – darling prints to choose from, clips have an embossed boot on them, and each pair has a different metallic finish (copper!? Very cool.) Much more like a fashion accessory than an apparatus. The material is kind of a silky soft elastic, and very comfortable. Check them out, see what you think. (PS – their discounted “combo pack” could make for great stocking stuffers…)
yeah and also a total rip off of stiruppz
